13-year-old Pulled Out BB Gun Before Getting Shot In Front Of Father

Now, more information is coming out about what happened when a gunshot killed a 13-year-old boy in Gwinnett County.

Friday, Channel 2’s Matt Johnson heard that one person had been arrested in connection with the death of Jaeden Travis.

Manuel Ramirez is facing charges of tampering with evidence and owning a gun while he was still a minor.

Jaeden Travis’s death is not being looked at as a murder case.

Johnson also found out that Jaeden Travis allegedly reached for a BB gun before he was shot.

Another Boy Was Giving Jaeden Travis Trouble

Harold Travis, the boy’s father, told Channel 2 Action News that his son had been fighting with another local boy for months.

Harold Travis said that his son was killed because he was set up to do it. “They came here and jumped on him once. I had to join the fight because it was pointless and my child was involved.
