After reportedly shooting his 2-year-old daughter’s mother and her mother, a 20-year-old Florida man was detained on Friday.
According to Orange County Police, Tanga Owens, 20, and her mother Tanishia Starr, 39, were shot and killed by Radrick Francois, 20, late on Friday morning while they were in a car outside an Orlando apartment building.
Witnesses told that the women were parked at a spot where they exchanged custody of their kid.
Police said that after Francois reportedly shot Owens and Starr, he snatched the toddler and fled to his residence. Additionally present in the vehicle at the time of the incident was Owens’ 18-month-old child. No harm came to either youngster.

Police were able to respond to the incident right away because they had a fugitive apprehension unit on the scene in connection with another investigation.
Following his arrest, Francois allegedly admitted to the shooting. According to reports, the shooting was caught on surveillance footage.
Francois and Owens were fighting about custody, and he had previously threatened to kill Owens.
He is charged with two first-degree murders.
According to WESH-TV, he is being held without bond.
