6 Dogs Cause of De@th
On January 27, 2021, the No Jumper podcast tweeted that 21-year-old rapper 6 Dogs had taken his own life. The reason for the 6 Dogs’ suicide has not been discussed publicly, and their admirers have been left guessing. Superhits like “Flossing” and “Faygo Dreams,” each of which has over 100 million plays on Spotify, put the underdog rapper on the fast track to stardom.
Many of his followers took to social media to express their sadness, with some even expressing amazement that he would consider such a thing given the bright future he has ahead of him professionally.

6 Dogs’ Openness About Mental Illness
Chase Amick, also known as 6 Dogs, has never been secretive about his struggles with mental illness. During a previous interview with No Jumper, he mentioned that he uses rap as a form of therapy for his sadness. When he was a lifeguard, he realized he needed to make something of his life.
The singer-songwriter is also well-known for her songs about serious subjects, like mental health. According to Amick’s Apple Music page, “Rapper 6 Dogs achieved internet fame in the late 2010s with a series of melodic songs about depression, suicide, and other heavy topics.” In November last year, he had shared a cryptic post on Twitter that read –
“If you have friends in the music biz call them and check on them. This rat race that we all are in is not cool. This rat race that we all are in is not cool. Some days I feel like a superhero who can take over the world and some days I just wanna cry and quit. I know I’m not alone. I know a lot of us feel this way.”

This was his final tweet after having teased his followers a week earlier about the release of his new album. Inferences have been made, and the possibility of this being the cause of death has been questioned, by certain fans. Although thousands of admirers and many young artists have paid respect to 6 Dogs, calling him an inspiration, Twitter has become a depressing wasteland.
