Police in Dayton are looking into a shooting that happened early Wednesday morning on state Route 49.
Montgomery County Regional dispatch says that at 12:46 a.m., a man with a gunshot wound was brought to Grandview Medical and the staff called the police.
The victim was found shot at the intersection of state Highway 49 and Little Richmond Road, police at the hospital were told.
We heard from dispatch that police went to the area and are looking into what happened. After the crews got there, homicide detectives were sent to the state route right away. At this time, no more information has been given out.
