On a banner and during the closing ceremony for Anime Expo 2023 on Tuesday, the Anime Expo staff announced that the event would return to Los Angeles from July 4–7, 2024.

The Los Angeles Convention Center hosted the anime convention from July 1 to 4.
On November 11 and 12, the smaller anime expo and chibi convention will make a comeback in Ontario, California.
