Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Manga Returns on August 21

The “second part” of Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto’s Boruto manga will release on August 21. A new illustration, the arc title, and this information were all shared on Thursday via the official Naruto and Boruto manga Twitter accounts. The brand-new storyline is titled “Two Blue Vortex.”

The sequel manga, written by Uky Kodachi and Ikemoto, debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in May 2016. The magazine published the manga once a month. In July 2019, the manga transitioned to V Jump. Beginning with the manga’s 52nd chapter in November 2020, Kishimoto took up Kodachi’s role as a storyteller.

The 19th volume of the manga’s compilation book was released by Shueisha on February 3. The manga is being published digitally by Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service and Viz Media, and in print by Viz Media.

In April 2017, TV Tokyo in Japan broadcast the television anime debut of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. On March 26, the anime’s “Part I” reached its conclusion with its 293rd episode, and “Part II” has since been given the go-ahead.

As it aired in Japan, Viz Media licensed the series and made it available for streaming on Hulu. Crunchyroll also carried the anime. In September 2018, the anime’s Toonami block on Adult Swim premiered. The anime is being released on home video by Viz Media.
