Bottoms is a brand new queer teen comedy film directed by Ayo Edebiri. The humorous coming-of-age film written and directed by Emma Seligman will star the two comedic actors. Rachel, star of the upcoming 2021 film Shiva Baby, also serves as the film’s scriptwriter. The upcoming comedy features contributions from Pitch Perfect’s Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman, and Alison Small, all of whom are listed as producers.
On March 11, 2023, Bottoms made its world premiere at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. The plot and the characters of the impending release are detailed below.

Who else besides Bottoms is in it?
In addition to Rachel and Ayo, the cast of Bottoms features a bevy of A-listers like Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella), and Saturday Night Live alum Punkie Johnson. Deadline reported in April 2022 that Marshawn Lynch, Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Miles Fowler, and Dagmara Dominczyk will also be featured in the cast.
