Lelouch of the Rebellion, a popular Japanese anime series, is one of the most popular of all time. Mecha anime series Code Geass, produced by Sunrise, was hugely popular in its first two seasons and has been on the air for about a decade now. After a ten-year wait, the show’s fans are beginning to worry about when Season 3 will be published.
Crunchyroll announced a new Code Geass series, Code Geass: Z of the Recapture, for 2020.

Code Geass Season 3 Release Date: When Will It Come Out?
Code Geass premiered in Japan on MBS on October 5, 2006, with a debut season of 25 episodes. In 2007, the first 23 episodes of the mecha series were broadcast continuously, while the final two episodes of Season 1 were released on July 28 and August 2, 2007.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 was announced in March 2007 and premiered on TBS and MBS on April 6, 2008, following the success of the original season. The number of episodes in the second season was the same as the first.
Funimation has published a trilogy of rewind films, but the anime saga is far from ended. Code Geass: Z of the Recapture was announced on December 5, 2022 (Dec. 5 is Lelouch’s birthday) as part of Studio Sunrise’s new 10-year plan.
Code Geass Plot: What Happened in the First Two Seasons?
the Holy British Empire, the European Union (also known as Europa United), and the Chinese Federation are three superpowers in an imagined Orwellian society depicted in Code Geass.
It is centered on an outcast prince of the Britannian Empire, Lelouch vi Britannia (voiced by Jun Fukuyama in the Japanese version and Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version). The Power of Kings, or Geass, is bestowed upon him by a mysterious girl named C.C. (Yukana/Kate Higgins), whom he encounters while attending Ashford Academy. When Lelouch’s mother was murdered, he used this capacity to find her killers and track them down, resulting in his sister going blind and losing the ability to walk.
It begins an invasion of Japan when the robots known as ‘Knightmare Frames’ are utilized in combat. Area 11 of Japan is obliterated by these mechs, which violently annex it and rename it The empire has wronged Lelouch, and he plans to exact his vengeance.
Furthermore, he vows to his childhood friend Suzaku Kururugi to rescue Japan from despotic machinations, but they end up going against other in several confrontations.

Code Geass Season 3 Plot: What Is the Story of Code Geass: Z of the Recapture?
To now, there are no plot details to go on for Code Geass: Z of the Recapture, other than that it takes place after the events of its predecessor. Because the original series and movies are set in various universes, viewers are curious to see where the new series will go.
Even though the films can be thought of as retellings of the series, several significant plot shifts cause problems for fans of the original series. So it’s still unknown if the new series will be a straight sequel to the second season of the program or if it will be set in the same period as the films in the original trilogy.
Since it’s still uncertain if Lelouch will be directly involved in the upcoming Code Geass series, it’s possible that the backstories of other characters could be revealed.
Code Geass Season 3 Cast: Who Will Voice the Japanese Version and English Version?
There hasn’t been a confirmation on the entire cast of the upcoming Code Geass series yet, but the main characters are expected to be back. Jun Fukuyama voices Lelouch, Sayaka Ohara voices CC, Takahiro Sakurai and Akeno Watanabe portray Suzaku Kururug, and Ami Koshimizu voices Kellen Stadtfeld in the Japanese voice cast.
Johnny Yong Bosch and Michelle Ruff (the kid version of Lelouch), Kate Higgins as CC, Yuri Lowenthal and Laura Bailey as Suzaku Kururugi, and Karen Strassman as Kallen Stadtfeld are all possibilities for the English cast if the leads return.

Where to Watch Code Geass Season 3?
Crunchyroll has the first two seasons of Code Geass streaming. It’s possible to watch both the original Japanese with English subtitles and the English dubs at the same time.

Will Lelouch Vi Britannia Return in Code Geass Season 3?
Season 2 of Code Geass ended with Lelouch executing Suzaku in front of the whole globe, releasing the planet from his oppressive rule and bringing peace in its place. Several fan theories, on the other hand, assert that Lelouch is still alive.
Nunnally vi Brittania becomes Empress of the Holy Empire of Brittania at the end of the second season, and many of the essential characters remain.
