Cyberpunk 2077

Its an action role-playing video game that was made by CD Projekt and put out for sale. The story takes place in the Cyberpunk world of Night City, which is an open world. The player takes on the role of V, a customizable mercenary who can learn hacking and machine skills and can fight in close combat or at a distance.

The game was made by a team of about 500 people using the RED Engine 4. This is more than the number of people who worked on the studio’s previous game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015). CD Projekt opened a new division in Wroclaw, Poland, and worked with Digital Scapes, Nvidia, QLOC, and Jali Research to help make the games.

Can be played on a PS4 or Xbox One?

Cyberpunk 2077 had a lot of problems when it came out, but its “last-gen” (PS4 and Xbox One) versions had the worst technical problems. People who tried to play Cyberpunk 2077 on these consoles when it first came out found that it was almost impossible to play because of bugs, poor graphics, big AI problems, and crashes that broke the game.

Because of how bad things were, Sony decided to take that version of Cyberpunk 2077 off of their digital store.

Since then, the game’s developer, CD Projekt Red, has put out a number of patches that are meant to not only make those versions of the game better but also fix them in a fundamental way. So, can you finally play Cyberpunk 2077 on those consoles? Well, it’s not getting any more playable, to paraphrase one of my favorite Simpsons lines.

Look, Cyberpunk on PS4 and Xbox One is still not the best way to play the game. They look bad, still have framerate problems, and sometimes have problems that are just plain strange (missing pedestrians, disappearing objects, etc.). If you want to play Cyberpunk 2077 on those consoles, you’ll still have to deal with a number of technical problems and flaws.

Most likely, there will never be a version of the game that runs perfectly smoothly on those consoles.

But there’s no doubt that the Cyberpunk 2077 updates for the last-generation consoles turned that version of the game from “unplayable” to “nonoptimal.” The biggest technical problems with those versions of the game have been fixed, and they now run well enough that many people consider them to be functional.

That’s obviously not a glowing review, but anyone who wants to play the game on those devices will find that this is as good as it will ever get. Again, I really mean that. CD Projekt Red has released the last update for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

If they don’t surprise everyone with more last-gen patches, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are as “fixed” as they’ll ever be.

At the end of the day, I still can’t recommend those versions of the game to anyone who wants to play Cyberpunk 2077 but doesn’t have any other way to do so.

If you can find a cheap copy of the game for those platforms for $20 or less, you may be more likely to overlook some of the flaws and enjoy the game as much as you can on those platforms. For everyone else, well, these great Cyberpunk 2077 alternatives are always there.
