According to Baltimore Police, a robbery in Canton on Sunday afternoon resulted in the shooting of a T-Mobile employee.
At about 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, Southeast District officers responded to the shooting at the establishment on the 2500 block of Boston Street. They discovered a 22-year-old man who was a store employee suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was transferred to a medical center.
The condition of the employee was not immediately made public by the police. According to Stephanie Cintron, district manager of the company, he was still being operated on as of Sunday night.

According to police, two suspects entered the mobile phone store and announced a robbery before the employee was shot. The male suspects “demanded the property of several store patrons” before escaping, according to police, after shooting the employee.
A corporate T-Mobile spokeswoman expressed “Our thoughts are with the employee who was involved,” calling the shooting at the company’s franchise store a “horrible situation” and pledging the cellular service “will do what we can to support the ongoing investigation.”
