When she was barely 11 years old, she made her acting debut in the role of Annie in a community theater production of Annie. Professional Career of Erin Moriarty
When Moriarty was a teenager, she started her acting career, landing parts in shows like One Life to Live and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She became well-known for her roles in a number of films, including The Watch (2012), a comedy in which she played Vince Vaughn’s daughter.

She played Hope, a college student whose life is upended by the show’s major adversary, Kilgrave. She later co-starred in the 2016 movie Blood Father with Mel Gibson, and critics including Manohla Dargis of The New York Times and Owen Gleiberman of Variety praised her for the role.
