In the area of Park Street and 5th Street in Stoughton, the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and local law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into what seems to be a homicide.
According to the police, a couple with ties to 743 Park Street made a 911 call just before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning after discovering an unresponsive woman in an outbuilding property behind the house. The outbuilding was located on the land back the house.

The body of a lady in her forties was discovered with “visible injuries,” according to the law enforcement officers.
Amber Buckner was named as the missing person by the authorities late on Tuesday. According to the district attorney’s office, she was living in Stoughton at the time of her passing away.
The authorities believe the death occurred between late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, and they are seeking any people in the vicinity whether they saw or heard anything strange during that time period. They suspect the fatality occurred sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The District Attorney has stated that this is an isolated incidence and that there is no danger to the general public.
The investigation is still going on at this time.
