Fire Force Season 3 Release Date: Anime is prospering owing to a variety of fascinating, beautifully produced shows. “Demon Slayer” has smashed a couple of movie records, and “Jujutsu Kaisen’s” blend of shonen action and the supernatural makes it a must-watch. We’d be remiss if we didn’t include “Fire Force,” whose innovative take on firemen and spontaneous combustion has helped boost its appeal.
The anime is based on Atsushi kubo’s manga about a third-generation pyrokinetic who can light his feet on fire. Shinra joins Special Fire Force Company 8 to fight Infernals, who spontaneously combust.
“Fire Force’s” second season ended in 2020 and was one of Amazon Prime Japan’s top five anime series (Via Anime News Network). Here’s all we know thus far about “Fire Force” Season 3.
Fire Force Season 3 Plotline
In the fictitious universe, an event that took occurred 250 years ago and was known as The Great Catastrophe took happened. This catastrophe wiped off fifty percent of the world’s population and those that survived sought refuge in the Tokyo Empire. This disease, known as Spontaneous Human Combustion and turned people into creatures known as Internals who were cognitively inert, was responsible for the extinction of humanity.
In the year 198, the Tokyo Empire responded to the growing threat posed by the Internals by forming squads of highly trained firemen into an organization known as the Fire Force. The protagonist of Fire Force is Shinra Kusakabe, who can ignite himself using his feet. A tragic event claimed the lives of both his mother and his little brother.
Soon after, he found out that his brother was still alive and had been kidnapped by a White Clad sect that was responsible for the Infernal assaults. They intend to exert control over mankind by bringing about The Great Cataclysm once more; Shinra’s mission is to prevent this from taking place and to preserve people from its effects.

Fire Force Season 3 Character
There has been no public announcement about Season 3 of “Fire Force” cast members. The continuity of the show’s production across the first two seasons suggests that the majority of the original cast will return for the third. Only a few new characters joined the group, including Ogun Montgomery (voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese and Zeno Robinson in English) and Scop (voiced by Kentaro Ito in Japanese and Tyler Walker in English) (English). Voice actors like Shinra’s Japanese counterpart Gakuto Kajiwara and English counterpart Derick Snow should return (Via Anime News Network).
Fire Force Season 3 Release Date
On May 16, 2022, the official Twitter account for “Fire Force” announced that the show will be returning for a third season. Regrettably, as of right now, we do not have any manufacturing updates or a timeline for when the product will be released. Even though we had no idea whether or not the anime will be renewed for a third season for quite some time, at least we will be able to maintain our enthusiasm while we wait for Crunchy Roll or Funimation to announce the release date.
The year 2022 is coming to a close, and there have been no updates since then, therefore it appears that “Fire Force” Season 3 will premiere at the beginning of 2023. Since the first two seasons of the anime were shown over the summer, it may be around six months before any new episodes of “Fire Force” are made available to watch online.
Fire Force Season 3 Streaming
We recommend rewatching Seasons 1 and 2 of “Fire Force” before jumping into Season 3. Unlike much other anime and TV shows, “Fire Force” may be viewed online through a variety of services.
You can watch both seasons on Hulu right now if you have a basic membership, and you can also find it on the always-reliable Crunchyroll. Both a free version of the anime with advertising (which may be relatively long on the streamer) and a paid version (which skips the ads) are available.
Both seasons of “Fire Force” may be seen online at Funimation for no cost and with advertisements. If you sign up for a paid plan, you can avoid seeing such interruptions.
