Gabriel Iglesias, a comedian and actor, said on social media on Friday that a private jet carrying him skidded off a runway in a small hamlet in western North Carolina.
The airplane in Andrews, North Carolina, struggled to stop for a “undetermined reason” and skidded roughly 600 feet off the end of the runway, according to a Facebook post from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
“Emergency landing!!! Our private jet skid off the runway and wound up in a field in Andrew’s, N. Carolina,” the comedian, also known as “Fluffy,” said in a tweet. “Everyone is ok but shaken up. Happy to be alive. I love u all,” he continued.
