It also shows the struggle for power and family drama between Binh and Hue, the proud immigrant parents who nailed being American and always try to control the lives of their adult children, Washington and Judy.
On the other hand, the kids are always under a lot of pressure to meet their parents’ never-ending standards. Because of this and the frequent visits from their even more dramatic extended family and relatives, the Hos’ house is always full of love, laughter, and, of course, high-end handbags.
