You’ve arrived at Hogwarts, the magical school of your dreams. However, the Sorting Hat doesn’t tell the whole story. You can choose to be sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin, much as in the Harry Potter books and movies. The house of Salazar Slytherin could be your actual home if you’re not the goody-two-shoes kind.
During the selection ceremony in-game, you will have the opportunity to make your own choice, but you can get a head start by taking a questionnaire. Keep reading because we’ve got everything you need to know to climb into Slytherin via the Wizarding World quiz in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Get Slytherin in Hogwarts Legacy?
Getting sorted into Slytherin is easy, as we know from the beginning of the game. Simply choose the dwelling you prefer. You’ll be asked a few questions to determine your residence, but if you don’t like the answers, you can choose a different one.
Hogwarts is home to a diverse population of thousands of students. Each student is assigned to one of four houses, named after the original founders of Hogwarts:
- Gryffindor – Godric Gryffindor
- Slytherin – Salazar Slytherin
- Ravenclaw – Rowena Ravenclaw
- Hufflepuff – Helga Hufflepuff
There is a Quidditch team for each house, and each house also has its own dorms. Furthermore, the characteristics of the wizard or witch are reflected in the house to which they belong. Slytherins, for instance, tend to be the most ambitious and craftiest of the houses.

It’s no secret that the Sorting Ceremony is a highly anticipated event for first-year students. The pioneers pioneered this ritual. A unique Sorting Hat was designed to determine a student’s appropriate home.
This ritual is also obligatory in Hogwarts Legacy. One of the game’s catchphrases, though, is “Your legacy is what you make of it.” Therefore, it is up to you to select the dwelling. What happens to a wizard or witch is entirely up to them. If you want to join the Slytherin house, all you have to do is make the right choice during the Sorting Ceremony.
Why Should You Choose Slytherin in Hogwarts Legacy?
We warned you that Slytherins are crafty. They have a lot of pride, intelligence, and ambition, though. Therefore, if you believe you possess these traits, Slytherin is the house for you. In addition, you’ll be able to don the robes of the Slytherin house.
Uniforms at Hogwarts are color-coded per house. Black, green, and silver are the colors of the Slytherin school uniform. In our opinion, this is the classiest outfit available at Hogwarts.
Joining Slytherin will also provide you access to the dungeons of Hogwarts, where the house’s dormitories are located. It has a foreboding gothic aesthetic. You must mention the correct password in front of a specific wall in order to get access. Then a massive snake will slither aside, revealing a door to the Slytherin dorm.
