Just six months after the release of Season 3 on Prime Video, the fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan has been announced.

After Elizabeth Wright’s elevation at the end of season 3, the titular marine turned CIA analyst will take on a new duty as Acting Deputy Director of the CIA, and we’ll finally get to meet Michael Pea’s Domingo “Ding” Chavez. For the first time in the series’ history, new episodes of Jack Ryan will be released weekly.

On Friday, June 30th, two episodes from Season 4 will debut on Amazon Prime Video.

Each week, until the series finale on July 14, two new episodes will be made available. There will only be six episodes of “Jack Ryan” this season.

After Season 3 launched in December, the following season will premiere only six months later.

Prime Video reportedly released all eight episodes of Season 3 at once but will stagger the releases of the final season’s episodes over the course of a year.

Krasinski told The Wrap that they shot Seasons 3 and 4 simultaneously, reducing the time fans have to wait for Season 4.

On May 31st, a trailer for the final season premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

According to Variety, the new “Jack Ryan” will have Ryan serving as the CIA’s deputy director and investigating drug lords, terrorist groups, and a domestic plot.

For the final season, series regulars will be joined by John Krasinski, who will reprise his role as Jack Ryan.

Even though Michael Pea (Ant-Man) had been cast as Domingo “Ding” Chavez in the third season of Jack Ryan, he never appeared in the role. Amazon Studios claims that Pea will join the cast formally in season 4, and that he will be a series regular until his own show is created for him. Louis Ozawa (Hunters) has also been cast as Chao Fah in Jack Ryan.
