According to Deadline, the actor died on Sunday, February 19, in New York City. He had done voice work for several animated movies and acted in two movies with his sister Hayden Panettiere.
At the time this was written, the cause of death was not known. Jansen got his start in the business when he had a small part in an episode of the Disney Channel show Even Stevens with Shia LaBeouf and Nick Spano. As his career went on, he did voice work for animated movies and shows like Ice Age: The Meltdown, Blue’s Clues, Robots, The X’s, and many others.

The actress has been in three movies for Nickelodeon: The Last Day of Summer, Major Crimes, and The Babysitters. Alpha and the Whisperers surprised Casper, a member of the Hilltop community, in an episode of The Walking Dead’s ninth season. The last movie he was in was How High 2, which came out in 2019.
The roles Hayden is best known for are in the movie series Scream and the TV series Nashville. Both Tiger Cruise (2004) and The Forger (2012) had roles for both of the siblings.
