Jojolands Release Date Status Revealed! Here Are The Latest Details!

Fans are eagerly looking forward to the debut of JoJolands, which will follow the story of the “Steel Ball Run” universe. JoJolion, the eighth edition of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, ended its 10-year run in August 2021. We’ll look at when the next JoJo manga might be released in the section below.

When Is the Jojolands Manga Going to Be Released?

JoJolands has yet to receive an official release date. As a result, based on prior manga publication schedules, we can only speculate when the ninth JoJo series will be released. In the table below, you’ll find the dates for each manga’s run:

  • Phantom Blood: December 1986 – October 1983
  • Battle Tendency: November 1987 – March 1988
  • Stardust Crusaders: March 1989 – April 1992
  • Vento Aureo: December 1995 – April 1996
  • Stone Ocean: December 1999 – April 2005
  • Steel Ball Run: January 2004 – April 2011
  • JoJolion: May 2011 – August 2022

From March 19, 2005, until April 19, 2011, Steel Ball Run was serialized. JoJolion premiered almost immediately after that, on May 19, 2011. Araki, on the other hand, took a 6- to 8-month break between Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean.

If we had to guess, we’d say JoJolands would hit Japanese shores in March 2022. When it comes to the exact publishing date, we’re guessing March 19, 2022, when JoJo Magazine will be published in Japan to mark the show’s 35th anniversary.

It’ll be the third entry in the Steel Ball Run universe, and maybe the final chapter (if not the franchise itself). Because the first three sections and the second three parts each have their trilogies, it makes sense. Araki has previously stated that he has completed sketches up to Part 9. As a result, it’s most likely where he’ll conclude it. Alternatively, we may go on a crazy adventure or return to the JoJo universe.

The Final Name May Differ

One of the few details about Part 9 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure that Hirohiko Araki has divulged is the title of the future expansion, JoJolands. Araki, on the other hand, rarely uses placeholder titles that he alters later in the creative process, especially when he has a better sense of the story’s overall scope. Araki frequently changes the title of a new chapter between the time it is announced and the time it is released. Part 8’s JoJolion is the only previous title that has not been amended throughout production.

Hirohiko Araki Has Been Working on the General Outline for Part 9 for a While

Araki isn’t a great writer, and he has a habit of overlooking little details. It’s unusual for an author’s strategy to deviate from their original vision. It could even be hazardous to stick too closely to the original concept.

He is, however, incredibly attentive, and he has already gone so far as to make designs for Parts 7, 8, and 9. Araki’s original vision for JoJolands may change, but he already has a plan in place for where he wants the series to go.

It Is Possible That It May Follow With Characters From Jojolion

Fans had been waiting for the events of Part 8’s JoJolion for almost a decade, and it appeared that there were still a lot of stories to be told. technique to tie up Part 8’s loose ends that fail miserably. Some believe JoJolands will be a direct successor to Part 8 in this manner in some ways. In this scenario, the last chapter also introduces Joseph Joestar, who may easily be the lead for JoJolands.

It Is Possible That The Plot Will Be Set in Scotland’s Highlands

One of the reasons JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has remained popular over the years is that the plot is set all over the world, and the series does not stay within Japan’s borders. Some of JoJo’s stories are set in Italy, England, and Florida, giving the idea that they may be situated anywhere.

Araki has expressed interest in setting a story in the Scottish Highlands or elsewhere in Northern Europe, which he may accomplish in JoJolands. Araki has expressed interest in setting a new story in Italy, so perhaps Part 9 will be set there as well.

It Is Unclear if It Will Have Any Ties to the Upcoming Josuke & Hol Horse Spin-off

According to game revolution, there is no shortage of JoJo content, with a plethora of exciting supplemental material like as short books that expand on ‘ and narrative. The debut of JoJolands was timed to coincide with the release of the first original JoJo manga spin-off.

This spin-off will focus on Josuke from “Diamond is Unbreakable” and It will be written by Kouhei Kadono, who previously wrote the light novel “Purple Haze Feedback,” and illustrated by Tasuku Karasuma of “No Guns No Life.” JoJolands may play a role in this new spin-off adventure, but it’s too early to say.

Morioh Will may Make an Appearance

Hirohiko Araki has created such detailed settings in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure that it may be traumatic when the setting is completely abandoned for a new location. Diamond is Unbreakable, is the JoJo series’ most beloved location. Araki has shown a desire in returning to Morioh in some fashion in either Part 8 or Part 9. Part 8 displays a recreated Morioh, but JoJolands could easily take this concept even farther.
