Jordie Hudson, a famous Florida singer, went missing without a trace, and her family and friends are still reeling from the shock. Unfortunately, further details revealed in the inquiry strongly suggested that Jordie had been killed. See No Evil: All Eyes on Jordie, a documentary by Investigation Discovery, tells the story of Jordie’s murder and how footage from security cameras appeared to show the aftermath of the crime.
What Caused Jordie Hudson’s Death?
R. Kirkwood, Jordie Hudson entered the world in April of 1970, and in 1989 he received his diploma from Baldwin High School in Florida. Jordie, a 46-year-old resident of St. Augustine, Florida, was hailed as a “very gifted artist.” She also held a number of exhibitions around the state. A friend told me that Jordie had been given a fatal meningitis diagnosis.
On April 14, 2016, Jordie’s mother filed a missing person’s report for her. Jordie’s body was discovered behind a fire pile on a farm on County Road 208 near St. Augustine, putting an unfortunate conclusion to the hunt for her. Both of the stab wounds in her neck were close to the jugular vein. Jordie’s ring fingers were severed after her death in order to steal her jewelry, according to the autopsy results.
Who Murdered Jordie Hudson?
Approximately three days before Jordie’s disappearance, police were summoned to a crime scene on a St. Augustine sidewalk. The evidence included dried blood, a bloody steak knife, and bloody eyeglasses. Once the police received Jordie’s missing person report, they saw that she was wearing glasses that matched those found at the crime site. They concluded that something dreadful must have occurred to Jordie because of this.
On April 9, 2016, around 2:45 a.m., Jordie was captured on a security camera at a neighborhood pub. With a man who turned out to be John Harry Branson III, she made her way out of the building. The next morning, around 3:45 AM, surveillance footage from a nearby company showed Jordie and John getting into a fight. After the camera caught John striking the artist, they both disappeared from view. Next, the detectives would face a horrifying chain of events.
The next thing anyone saw, John was carrying Jordie’s lifeless body and tossing it into the bushes beside the road. In his mother’s automobile, he arrived at their house at 6:30 a.m., accompanied by a lady he subsequently learned to be his girlfriend, Christeen Thomas. John put Jordie’s body in the trunk as Christeen kept watch, and they drove off. Christeen informed police that she and John had moved the body to the house where John’s mother lived on County Road 208.
Christeen stated that when John extracted the corpse, she watched him attempt to clean the blood and other debris off his car mats. To cover their tracks after burying Jordie, they set fire to the area. Ultimately, John acknowledged stabbing Jordie during an altercation, but he continued to insist that Jordie “manufactured” the knife.
What Happened to John Harry Branson III?
John was charged with second-degree murder and corpse mutilation in April 2017 and faced life in prison if convicted. John, who was 40 at the time, was given a life sentence for the murder and an additional 10 years for the mutilation. Christeen pled no contest to being an accessory after the fact and was given an eight-year term for her role in the murder of another person. The official prison records show that John is still a prisoner in the Northwest Florida Reception Center in Chipley, Florida. In November of 2063, he will be released from prison.
