The official MPA rating for Justice League: Warworld, DC’s latest animated film, was submitted this week. The forthcoming film will be rated “R” upon its release.
Justice League Warworld Release Date
In addition to other upcoming DC animated features like Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham and a new Justice Society of America film, Justice League: Warworld has also been announced. A number of Elseworlds productions, such as Merry Little Batman and a Bat-Family spinoff, are making the transition to Prime Video.
The official release date for Justice League: Warworld is July 25.

Justice League: Warworld Continues the Tomorrowverse Saga
The animated series Justice League: Warworld is the most recent addition to the Tomorrowverse canon. Criss’s version of Superman debuted in the 2020 film Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which marked the beginning of the shared universe.
The two-part 2021 film Batman: The Long Halloween featured Ackles’ take on the character, which was adapted from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s classic comic book series.
In the Tomorrowverse film Justice Society: World War II, Katic voiced Wonder Woman. However, it eventually became clear that Wonder Woman in that movie actually originated on Earth-2. Even though there have been crossovers before, this will be the first Justice League film to take place in this realm.
Green Arrow and the Flash headed to Wayne Manor to find Batman at the end of Batman: The Long Halloween. In the first film in the Tomorrowverse, Legion of Super-Heroes, both Batman and Superman made cameo appearances.
