Fans of My Hero Academia (MHA) have been on the edge of their seats during the exciting sixth season, which has had its share of highs and lows. My Hero Academia Season 7 has been highly anticipated by fans as the final season of the popular anime based on Kohei Horikoshi’s book.
The death of Midnight, a beloved figure in the My Hero Academia fandom, has been a topic of much speculation.
Midnight’s Untimely End
Nemura Kayama, also known as Midnight, suffered a tragic end in the sixth season of My Hero Academia. Episode 14’s title, “Hellish Hell,” suggests that she meets her end at the hands of the PLF. During the Paranormal Liberation War’s climactic conflict, Midnight is killed by the heroes and villains.
Fans who had become attached to the character and respected her fortitude were devastated by her untimely death.
What Caused Midnight to Die and How?
Midnight was put in charge of an operation to capture members of the Paranormal Liberation Front by storming their major stronghold, the Gunga Mountain Villa. But disaster struck when Gigantomachia, a formidable foe, awoke and threatened the heroes greatly. Midnight and the other Pro Heroes tried to stop the advance of Gigantomachia. She intended to control him with her Somnambulist ability.
Dabi and Mr. Compress surprised Midnight when she was in the air, foiling her goals. Mr. Compress let off a hail of debris, sending Midnight tumbling to the ground where she suffered life-threatening injuries. Midnight was killed despite her success in instructing Yaoyorozu to produce an anesthetic to immobilize Gigantomachia. The UA students found her body after the fight had ended.

Hypotheses and Prospects
In the course of the series, My Hero Academia has introduced a wide variety of powers, some of which are capable of curing wounds. However, the possibility of bringing the dead back to life has not been investigated.
Therefore, it seems highly doubtful that Midnight will return for Season 7. Fans need to accept the fact of her tragic death while still honoring her legacy as a respected educator and strong female character in the show.
