Procedural means that each episode usually focuses on a single case, however, there are a few multi-episode/season-long arcs on NCIS that are more complex. After Vivian (Teri Polo) was kidnapped in the season 19 finale of NCIS, Alden Parker (Alfred Molina) is one of the key suspects. But the NCIS team is convinced of his innocence and resolves to aid him in his escape. With her escape from her captors, Vivian decides to accompany him.

“How’s it going?” a text asks Vivian in the final seconds of the show. Asked if she was okay, she responds: “It’s all done and dusted. And he’s mine! “showing a strong resemblance to the kidnapper The Raven, an enigmatic criminal, is also mentioned in passing. NCIS season 20’s opening episodes will likely feature a significant focus on this plot arc.

How to watch NCIS on TV

Seeing as CBS has local stations all over the country that cable companies must carry, NCIS is available to virtually every US TV home with a standard pay-TV subscription. The local station signals can also be picked up by TV antennas. FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, and YouTube TV are just a few of the live TV streaming providers that carry CBS.

Paramount Plus is the streaming service of choice for NCIS fans who no longer have a cable subscription. New episodes of NCIS will be available to stream on Paramount Plus the day after they air on live television. You may, however, watch NCIS (and other CBS episodes) live on Paramount Plus’ premium tier.

NCIS season 20 is scheduled to be available on Disney Plus outside of the United States, while the show may transfer to Paramount Plus, though no announcement has been made. All past seasons of the show are presently available to subscribers of Disney Plus.
