NieR Automata garnered a lot of accolades for its gameplay and plot when it originally came out in 2017. Players may now enjoy this masterpiece on the Nintendo Switch. Continue reading to find out more about the End of YoRHa Edition of NieR: Automata’s Switch version, as well as its release date, gameplay, and plot.
NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition Switch Release Date
Automatic Novelist (NieR) On October 6, 2022, The End of YoRHa Edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch. It’s also playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. They are, however, not the video game discussed here.
Gameplay of NieR Automata The End of YoRHa Edition
NieR Automata for the Switch is the same as its other versions in terms of how it is played. It is an action role-playing game with open-world parts that is driven by a story. Players must explore a post-apocalyptic world, fighting off dangers and helping people in need. Exploration is a big part of the game because players have to figure out how to get around. The player can move through the landscape by sprinting, dashing, jumping, double-jumping, and even air-dashing. Exploration can lead to items, different paths, or even more parts of the story.
As the player moves around, they will run into enemies that they will have to kill. To do this, players can use many different kinds of weapons, from small, fast swords to big, slow greatswords. Each of these weapons has its own pros and cons, so players will have to try out different ones to see which ones work best for them. In some fights, the characters don’t just swing their weapons and fight like they usually do in action RPGs. Instead, they also have to dodge bullets. That is, players will have to avoid many, and I mean many, projectiles. This makes it so that players have to play slowly and not rush through fights.
Nier also has an upgrade system, so players can mix and match their stats to make the game easier to play. It’s funny that this upgrade system includes the user interface and head-up display for the player. This means that players can hide maps, quest markers, and even their own health bars if they want to equip an extra stat boost or skill.
Story of NieR Automata The End of YoRHa Edition
The plot of NieR Automata’s Switch port is the same as in the previous versions. The player assumes control of 2B, a cool-headed and formidable combat robot in the year 11945 A.D. 2B has tasks of her own, but first, she must investigate the devastated area and aid the needy. There are a total of 26 possible conclusions in NieR Automata, one for each letter of the alphabet. While a few of them are simply for laughs, some are meaningful and provide new levels of replayability.
