After a shooting in McKeesport on Tuesday, one teen died and another is in very bad shape.
Allegheny County 911 says that at 3:35 p.m., help was called to the 3400 block of Versailles Avenue.

When first responders got to the scene, they found two teenage boys who had been shot. Both were taken to local hospitals, where one was said to have died.
Detectives in Allegheny County are now looking into a murder.
The superintendent of the McKeesport Area School District said that both of the victims went to McKeesport High School.
Dr. Tia Wanzo, the superintendent, said the following:
“At the McKeesport Area School District, the safety of our students is our top priority, so it’s sad to hear about the tragedy this afternoon. During this hard time, the district is thinking of and praying for the families of the victims. On Wednesday, December 14, McKeesport High School and East End Academy will have a virtual day that doesn’t happen at the same time. This is to help us deal with the sad event. McKeesport High School will have counsellors available for our staff and students for the rest of the week.
