Sabikui Bisco Season 2: The Rust Eater Returns

Over a year after the end of the first season, Sabikui Bisco’s season 2 has been formally confirmed. The sequel will be animated by Studio Oz once more. A teaser image is available:

The first season of the anime Sabikui Bisco, which is presently available on Crunchyroll in both subtitled and dubbed versions, was directed by Atsushi Ikariya.

An illustrated light novel by K Akagishi and written by Shinji Cobkubo, with world-building artwork by Mocha, serves as the inspiration for the Sabikui Bisco anime. 2018 saw the start of the light novel’s serialization under the Dengeki Bunko imprint.

There is also a two-part Rokudo Takahashi manga adaptation. From April 2019 until March 2021, the first was serialized on Square Enix’s MangaUP! service. From December 2021 to October 2022, the same service serialized the second installment of the So Natsuki manga.
