Authorities were looking for a driver who stole a car from Montebello on Tuesday night. The suspect reportedly impacted two automobiles at a crossroads in South El Monte, causing evident damage to the white four-door sedan’s front end, before entering the westbound 60 Freeway while leading deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on a pursuit.
Later, the suspect left the road and headed toward some East Los Angeles surface streets. When the man parked his car, ran behind a house, and swiftly returned to the front of the place where he appeared to be speaking with someone, Sky5 was overhead.
The guy returned to the car and sped off again, weaving through traffic and running many red lights as he traveled along Whittier Boulevard. He brought the car to a stop around Victoria and Maples Avenues as he returned to Montebello, got out, and handed himself into the authorities.
