HORRIFICALLY BAD – PC REVIEW, THE MEDIUM
I don’t typically play horror video games. I’m not afraid of horror; I just find their tales to be monotonous, and the lengths you have to go to in order to even get a hint of the story are frequently exhausting. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of being tense for extended periods of time.
However, a horror game’s compelling narrative can make it worth playing through the tiresome jump scares and heart-pounding stress. Unfortunately, The Medium’s story is weak, and as a result, playing through it is a real pain.
You play Marianne in The Medium, a character who can move between dimensions and converse with the dead. On the day of her adoptive father’s passing, she gets a call informing her that a strange man named Thomas, who lives somewhere else, knows her secret and has the solutions she’s been looking for her entire life.
Being the completely sane person she is, Marianne rushes to the deserted Niwa resort in quest of Thomas and the truth.
