Tiki Barber deserves credit for not fumbling the handoff of his East 69th Street apartment, which he sold for $3.495 million despite the real estate market being rougher than an NFL front line. The former New York Giants running back received the asking price in October when he sold his spacious co-op on East 69th Street.
Mr. Barber, whose full name is Atiim Kiambu Hakeem-Ah “Tiki” Barber, lateralled the high-floor apartment to Fortunoff’s heir David Fortunoff. The deed lists Mrs. Barber’s name as Virginia.
The mother-daughter team at Warburg Realty, Bonnie and Lisa Chajet, who listed the “stunning architecturally designed triple mint” apartment, declined to comment owing to corporate policy.
