Specifics of the Rise of Tomb Raider video game
Rise of the Tomb Raider is the second journey that Lara Croft takes in the rebooted version of the Tomb Raider video game series. In this adventure, the archaeologist scales mountains and explores ruins while solving an ancient mystery and fending against an army of armed mercenaries. For optimal performance when raiding tombs, we recommend a computer with an Intel Core i5-750S or AMD FX-6120 processor and a GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390 graphics card. New Tomb Raider Game Reveal Teased
Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the Tomb Raider franchise, has hinted that it would have more information to reveal about the next game in the brand at some point in the year 2023.
Following Lara Croft’s most recent appearance in 2018, the company said earlier this year that it was hard at work on the next major adventure for the Tomb Raider protagonist, Lara Croft.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider was her most recent game. And despite the fact that we are still essentially in the dark about what the future holds for Tomb Raider, it appears that we will be receiving more information about the project in the relatively near future.
During a recent call with investors, the CEO of Crystal Dynamics, Phil Rogers, mentioned that the business will start providing more details about the upcoming Tomb Raider game at an unspecified time in 2023. Rogers made this revelation during the call.
Rogers did not reveal any information that was particular regarding the upcoming entry in the long-running action-adventure series; however, he did indicate that people working at Crystal Dynamics are very much looking forward to disclosing more information regarding the game.
“We have not revealed information about franchise plans, but the team is enthusiastic to show where we’re heading, as soon as we can next year,” Rogers said while on the call. “We’ve not released any details about our intentions for the franchise.”
The fact that this forthcoming Tomb Raider project will not be released by Square Enix is the most notable difference between it and previous iterations of the franchise. For the benefit of those who may have forgotten, Square Enix completed the sale of Crystal Dynamics and the intellectual property rights associated with the Tomb Raider franchise to Embracer Group earlier in 2022.
Crystal Dynamics appears to have continued to make steady progress when it comes to working on the title, despite the fact that some fans were concerned that this sale might have an effect on the development of the next game in the franchise in the series.
At this point in time, the only significant detail that we are aware of regarding the upcoming Tomb Raider game is that it will be built on top of Unreal Engine 5. In light of this, when it finally does come out, it ought to be accessible solely on current-generation platforms, namely the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and the personal computer.

Metacritic Reveals Top 10 Worst Games of 2022
The 10 games that received the lowest scores from Metacritic in 2022 have been revealed. When it comes to the number of games that are launched and the manner in which they are released in this day and age, the video game industry is an extremely fascinating one.
Even while there are usually a significant number of new video games arriving on the market each year, it feels as though there are now a limitless number of titles available. As a result of the fact that anyone is able to publish a game on digital merchants such as Steam, it is virtually impossible to play every game. Having said that, it’s important to note that not every single one of them will be excellent.
In point of fact, according to the statistics, a significant number of them are going to be quite poor.
In the year 2022, we participated in a large number of amazing games, both major and small. The video games God of War: Ragnarok, Elden Ring, Sifu, and Stray, along with a great number of others, all turned out to be outstanding masterpieces. However, not every game was as fantastic as them, and there were some titles that had launches that were just bad.
Some of these were corrected over time, but that didn’t prevent them from receiving criticism when they were first made available. Some of these didn’t get much of an update, which permanently taints their reputation.
It goes without saying, but it’s important to stress how challenging it is to develop a game. It is a miracle that any game has a chance of turning out successfully, but it is an interesting thing to study the games that simply did not strike their marks. Just a few months prior to the launch of God of War Ragnarok, the development team expressed concern regarding the game’s overall quality.
This demonstrates how rapidly circumstances may shift, making it difficult for even the most brilliant teams to succeed. Even some of these games were able to improve as a result of the criticism they received and the additional time they were given to fix their flaws after the first release.
Some video games simply do not have the resources necessary to do so, while others can never fully recover; nevertheless, some can at least improve upon something despite the feedback they have received.
Do you feel that any games released this year had reviews that were biassed in any way, whether they were positive or negative?
