Two Women Who Were Missing for Days Were Located Safe and Sound Near a Lake in Maine

Two women who hadn’t been seen since Wednesday were found safe near a lake in Maine.

Kimberly Pushard, 51, and Angela Bussell, 50, were found near Nicatous Lake in East Hancock, Maine, on Sunday evening, five days after they were first reported to be lost while driving between the borders of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.

In a Facebook post, Topsham Police said that the woman is being taken to the hospital by the Maine Warden Service.

The two women were reported missing for the first time by police in Topsham, Maine, early on Wednesday morning. On Tuesday afternoon, the two were said to have driven between the borders of Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

Police say that the women were trying to find their way to the Maine Mall. The New Hampshire police tried to get the women to go back to their homes in Topsham, but they were not successful.

The families of the two women told police that the women have intellectual disabilities and often get lost or confused about where to go.
