In August of 2023, Netflix around the world will add four more episodes of the UNTOLD documentary series. Developed by Chapman Way and Maclain Way, UNTOLD seeks to reveal the truth behind some of the major controversies and behind-the-scenes by using the credible recollections of individuals directly involved.
As with previous seasons (and as we’ve seen with the documentary series Unknown throughout the month of July 2023), numerous episodes will be released independently while being combined as volume 3.
The Volume of Netflix’s Release Are UNTOLD: Jake Paul the Problem Child
It will debut on August 1, 2023.

Should we look to 26-year-old Jake Paul as boxing’s new savior, or dismiss him as a “delusional” promoter whose marketing abilities outweigh his right hand? The characters in UNTOLD: The Problem Child: Jake Paul is a frank look at how a wide-eyed child from Ohio went from a viral video star to one of the sports world’s most divisive figures.
UFC president Dana White has his detractors, but former professional boxer Mike Tyson is also a vocal supporter. Jake and his older brother, Logan, became Internet sensations in 2013 after posting videos of their pranks and shenanigans to Vine and, later, a YouTube channel that quickly amassed millions of views.
Jake released music and got cast in a Disney Channel cartoon (Bizaardvark) because to the brothers’ internet fame. Once close siblings became apart as their fame developed. Jake received a second chance at fame after the scandals in his real life threatened to end his acting career. He proved his doubters wrong by knocking out opponent after opponent in the boxing ring.
The film’s climax, a tense boxing fight that will determine whether or not Jake Paul has what it takes to rule his new kingdom, is based on riveting interviews with the Paul brothers, as well as their parents, fans, fellow boxers, and the suspicious old guard.

UNTOLD: Johnny Football

Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist was directed by Ryan Duffy.

An small freshman quarterback at lowly Texas A&M, whose enthusiasm on the field was exceeded only by his hard-partying antics off of it, became the brightest star in all of sports in 2012. The charismatic football star, who had the nation in his grip and who originally reveled in his alter identity, “Johnny Football,” as he put it, “I wanted to be Johnny Football.
He claims that Johnny Football has “never had a bad time.” Manziel rejected his newfound fame and direction as the money and attention poured in. Including interviews with his family, coaches, ex-best buddy, and agent, Manziel reveals the shocking backstory to the events that unfolded under the watchful eyes of the paparazzi.
Manziel was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, but he bungled his chance at professional football and went on to pursue something much more valuable: the quiet fulfillment he describes here.

Top athletes like baseball superstar Barry Bonds and track and field greats Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery were caught up in the biggest doping scandal in sports history, and the name Victor Conte has become inextricably linked to it.
For the past 16 years, Conte has denied any involvement with illegal, performance-enhancing substances at his Bay Area supplement and nutrition company, BALCO Laboratories. However, by the year 2000, he had turned to the dark side and established himself as the go-to guy for sportsmen seeking steroids, notoriety, and world records.
As the legend of one of sports’ most infamous names develops, the documentary incorporates interviews with numerous of Conte’s renowned former acquaintances, including Montgomery and the anti-doping and IRS authorities who helped send him to prison after a 42-count indictment.

What Is The Show Untold About?
The show takes the form of a documentary in that it investigates unusual and little-known facts regarding sports and athletes. Malice at the Palace was the first of five riveting stories in the first volume. It presented the account of the basketball game that took place on November 19, 2004, and it was probably the best episode.
The players and spectators got into a massive brawl during the game. The documentary includes a lot of previously unseen material from that day. The trailer for Untold teases an intriguing notion, offering new footage from that night that has never been seen before. It’s still unsettling to think about, even after nearly 20 years. All four episodes explore various personal and hidden aspects of people’s lives.
In the third episode, Caitlyn Jenner was featured. Once known as Bruce Jenner, a prominent tennis player, Caitlyn Jenner opted to undergo gender transition and their tale is amazing. Her transformation to Bruce and subsequent Olympic gold are fascinating tales in and of themselves.
She insisted that Bruce, not Caitlyn, deserved credit for winning the gold medal. Chapman Way and Maclain Way, who also directed Wild Wild country, helm the flicks.
Untold’s final episode, titled “Breaking Point,” focused on the life of former tennis pro Mardy Fish and shed light on his battles with mental illness. Fish, at the time the top-ranked American on the ATP Tour, retired from tennis in 2012 after withdrawing from a quarterfinal match against Roger Federer at the US Open.
