The Venture Bros. is set to return with a final film in the long-running franchise and a premiere date for The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart has been revealed by the networks. It was abruptly reported some time ago that Adult Swim would not be continuing with the currently airing eighth season of The Venture Bros.
Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment and Adult Swim have confirmed that a new movie bringing a fitting conclusion to The Venture Bros. will be released on Blu-ray and DVD later this year.
While we don’t yet know when exactly The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart will be available in stores, a new listing for Adult Swim Canada (revealed in a press release from Corus Entertainment) has been hyping up the show’s network premiere for some time this Fall.
That means the new The Venture Bros. film will be available for fans to watch on home video at the latest by the end of the year. Unfortunately, however, a firm date has not yet been decided upon.
Venture Brothers Movie Release Date
The release date or window for The Venture Bros. Movie is currently unknown. Film editor Nico Colaleo, however, claims he has seen the final cut and that production is wrapping up. Fans had been assured by the film’s makers that the movie will still be made, therefore Colaleo’s announcement that production was completed came as a shock to several.
It’s hard to tell if his story is accurate or not. A release in 2023 is unlikely unless this is the case. The movie will have a VOD release but will be streamable on HBO Max for the first 90 days after its theatrical debut.
The Venture Bros. Movie cast
The majority of the original cast of The Venture Bros. has been confirmed to return for the film. Soon after, Publick and Hammer committed to scripting and producing the film. Both of them voiced various characters in the animated series, so it seems to reason that they would do the same for the cinematic adaptation.
Hank Venture and The Monarch are two of Publick’s most prominent roles, and he is likely to play them again. His other well-known roles, such as Dr. Henry Killinger and Henchman 24, might also be voiced by him. There is also a chance that Hammer will return to his roles as Billy Quizboy, Henchman 21, and Doctor Girlfriend.
In addition to Publick and Hammer, the Venture family’s ruthless bodyguard Brock Samson (played by fan favorite Patrick Warburton) has agreed to return. Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture, played by James Urbaniak, is the insecure scientist, ex-adventurer, and father of the Venture brothers. Urbaniak has indicated that he will reprise his role.

Michael Sinterniklaas and Paul Boocock are the only two original voice performers who haven’t indicated they’ll be back. Dr. Jonas Venture, Rusty’s absent father, was played by Boocock in flashback scenes. Dean, one of the Venture brothers, was given a voice by Sinterniklaas.
Due to his 14-year commitment as Dean and frequent appearances on the show, many fans are still holding out hope that at least Sinterniklaas will return. Without an official cast list, however, it is impossible to know if any of the original cast members will be making a return. Furthermore, no additional voice actors have been cast at this time.
