Zom 100 Episode 8 Recap
Akira, Kencho, and Shizuka traveled to Gunma after scoring the 27th goal. They came across a truck surrounded by zombies along the route. Akira rushed to help in his Akiraiger suit, but found Beatrix Amerhauser, a German-born Japanese cultural lover, managing the crisis admirably on her own while donning samurai armor and slashing through zombies with her guandao.
Beatrix begged for their assistance in delivering fish to a sushi chef, and they obliged. They encountered zombies on the way, but Shizuka’s plan to burn them failed. Shizuka utilized a drone to capture and defeat the undead while Akira and Beatrix distracted them. They continued to Gunma and visited a hot spring town after celebrating with sushi.
When Akira brought up the subject of dating, Shizuka immediately said that it was a waste of time. When the group came across zombies in the hot spring, they sought cover on higher ground, away from the approaching undead.
Akira was fortunate to discover onto a hidden hot spring and was startled to find Shizuka already there since Kencho and Beatrix were still sleeping. Shizuka later admitted that her prior perspective on dating was not fully correct, as she considered herself a newbie in the field.
She also showed a liking for someone with similar attributes to Akira, making them both uncomfortable. Beatrix and Kencho unexpectedly joined them in the hot spring, not wanting to miss out on the fun.
